Full Harvest

Three small square botanical paintings prepared with oil paint on canvas include an open nut in the shell, a peach and lime slice, titled Extravagant Harvest, Golden Harvest and Full Harvest. Paintings look great on their own or combine to form a triptych.

Full Harvest - Artist's Statement

One quarter of a lime slice in high key, loose brush strokes, represents God's provision as described in Genesis chapter one version twenty-nine and chapter eight verse twenty-two. This painting applies as one third of the triptych, named Every Plant, with separate paintings titled, Golden Harvest and Extravagant Harvest. However Full Harvest looks great on its own too.

Then God said, 'Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;' (Genesis 1:29)

While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease.(Genesis 8:22)

Triptych - Every Plant

Colorful painterly abstract fruit slices and nut in the shell, designed to display as a triptych (three in a row), but gorgeous stand alone as well. They represent the Lord's provision as described in Genesis chapter one, verse twenty nine and chapter eight, verse twenty two.

God Provides Everything

Then God said, 'Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;' (Genesis 1:29)

God's Continual Provision

While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease. (Genesis 8:22)

A Better Harvest

He said to his disciples, 'The harvest is great, but the workers are few.' (Mat 9:32)
